Why British native breeds need our help

I recently interviewed Countryfile presenter Adam Henson about his new book, A Breed Apart: My adventures with Britain’s rare breeds. The plight of our native British breeds is worth considering, not least because they are an important part of our heritage and could play a crucial role in the future. One of my dad’s Devon and Cornwall sheep, which are rare, even made it into the piece. (Waitrose Weekend out Thursday 4th July). To read my piece click the link below. And for more information visit The Rare Breeds Survival Trust (https://www.rbst.org.uk) and Devon and Cornwall Longwools (http://devonandcornwallflockbook.co.uk).
