Cooking intuitively rather than relying on recipes just like our grandmothers do is the subject of my feature out in Waitrose Weekend today. I spoke to some absolutely brilliant people for it – Niki Segnit whose new book Lateral Cooking (£30; Bloomsbury) is out now, Vicky Bennison of the YouTube channel Pasta Grannies, the girls behind the Grand Dishes blog and the inimitable Anna del Conte. Some really inspirational women in this one.
This made me think of Lulla who was a truly amazing cook but could never tell you how she made anything!
